Family Fun

Thankful that 13 isn't too old to run around with cousins shooting them with water

This weekend was highly anticipated - kids' baptisms, 4th of July, Grandpa & Grandma (times 2) and aunt/uncle/cousins were in town - what more could make for one exciting weekend!  We have had a great time of playing, talking, shooting water guns, playing games, watching fireworks (taped on TV, but we got it done), enjoying a few sparklers, eating, going to church and I'm sure I've left some stuff out.  So thankful that God coordinated it so we could share this time with family.  I'm thankful that we lived close enough to "home" for this season in our life to share it with those we love and that Chris was home as well to share it with us.

These two!  They're exactly one month in age and had a great time taking on everyone with the super soakers

A Very Special Celebration!

Today was a very special one for Chris and me - the Trio was baptized.  We've talked about this quite a bit and it's taken a bit of work to make it happen, but it was all worth it to see them publicly profess their faith in Jesus as their Savior and Lord for the rest of their lives.   That in and of itself was special, but we were also able to have both sets of Grandparents as well as Uncle Joe and Aunt Karen with that set of cousins in attendance.  So thankful to have this day and to celebrate it with those that are close.
