Friends Through the Years

 Over 15 years ago, we knew each other as friends and here we are today, married and still friends!

We were blessed this weekend with a visit from friends.  Friends that we've known since before any of us were even dating.  Unfortunately, due to distance and busyness, those visits have been few and far between.  However, the time we do spend with them is sweet and even sweeter because the kids enjoy their time together as well.

This weekend, we enjoyed several days of 70 degree weather for the month of February.  We spent time chatting, playing, playing games, riding bikes, picnicking, going to the zoo, flying drones and more chatting.  We love to have friends in our home and felt so blessed to have them make the drive to see us!

The weather was sooooooo nice.  Yes, you can get sunburned in the middle of February in the Midwest!

 The parents also enjoyed a duet of "Jingle Bells" from the two oldest!
